Ever since I started playing Famville (about 3 weeks ago), I was annoyed by the time I wait for the avatar to follow my commands like harvesting, plowing and other stuff. Every time i wanna do a command, the avatar slowly moves to do the command. But now, I discovered something new, I'm not sure if other people know it but I just wanted to share it with you. An easier way to move in Farmville is by blocking the avatar in a cage made out of hay bale, that way, when I make the avatar do a command, it just stays in place without moving slowly and it does the command faster. You don't even need to buy a harvester or one of those expensive vehicles.
